9/11 LESSONS

Have we as a nation, state, county, city made the changes necessary to protect as many people and infrastructure as possible from the problems found after the cowardly attacks on 11 September 2001?

• Have buildings codes been improved for tall/large buildings?
• Have communications (equipments and procedures) been improved between government, police, fire, and EMR people?
• Has realistic training taken place for most disaster scenarios for involved organizations?
• Have all organizations made necessary plans for resolving problems for most disaster scenarios?
• Do we have enough equipment, medicines, and medical care facilities to care for disaster injuries?
• Are future possible targets protected from attack by police and/or military units?
• Do we have the procedures and organizations in place to prevent future attacks?

A CRYING PRESIDENT ?

News Item - Clinton gets teary eyed in New Hampshire while talking about "putting up with" the stress of the Presidential campaign.

• Would this women cry on international TV, if she were President, over some problem with the job?
• How would the world react to such behavior?
• How would the American public react to such behavior?
• How could any nation, large or small, take this country seriously if any President behaved in this manner?
• How could crying be acceptable behavior any where but in the home or school?
• What kind of a rose garden does Clinton think she is entitled to in any part of her public life?
• And after this behavior the Democratic voters in New Hampshire vote her a victory?
• If any other candidate behaved this way how fast would they be driven from the campaign process?

GUIDE TO WORLD PEACE ?

These are nothing new. The civilized world has known them for centuries. If they were followed, where would we be?

• ONE: Have no other gods before Me.
• TWO: Make for yourself no carved image.
• THREE: Do not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.
• FOUR: Remember the Sabbath day, keep it holy.
• FIVE: Honor your father and mother.
• SIX: You shall not murder.
• SEVEN: You shall not commit adultery.
• EIGHT: You shall not steal.
• NINE: You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
• TEN: You shall not covet your neighbor's house; nor your neighbor, nor his servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's.

CLINTON WHO?

News item: Democrats may be ready to move on from the Clinton era.

• What could cause voters to depart from the Clinton way of doing things?
• Did Ms or Mr Clinton say something to upset Democrats?
• Did Ms or Mr Clinton do something to upset Democrats?
• How can/could such a fine political machine go wrong?
• Will this "bad luck" for Ms Clinton continue in the remaining primaries?
• Could any voter movement away from Ms Clinton be reversed?
• Is the Party machine making sure that there is a change in leadership in the Party?
